Barbara has been Registered Dental Hygienist for over 30 years. She began her career in dentistry 38 years ago as a Certified Dental assistant in West Palm Beach, FL. After two years as a chair-side clinician, Barbara expanded her knowledge of the dental office by handling dental insurance claims, scheduling patients, and business management.
Barbara has been in our practice fulfilling her passion to provide the best oral health care for five years.
Barbara is also a part-time instructor at the Florida State College of Jacksonville (her Alma Marta) in the dental department. She also enjoys volunteering by helping to provide free dentistry for the underprivileged in our community on the Florida Baptist Dental Bus, at Healing Hands (The Apple Project), and Missions of Mercy.
Barbara has been married to her husband Fred for 31 years. They have three very handsome sons, a wonderful daughter in law, and one very special grandson, Jack. She enjoys family gatherings, hiking, cycling, kayaking, and traveling to see beautiful places nature has to offer.
PJ has been a Dental Hygienist in our practice for 19 years. She has an AS degree in Dental Hygiene (FCCJ), a BS in Premed Biology (UNF) and is Certified in Mass Disaster Recovery. She has been married for 20 years and has two beautiful daughters. She enjoys reading, fishing, cooking, scuba diving, spending time with her family as well as camping. She also has a passion for forensic studies. The next time you are in the office, tell her you read about her on our website!
Rose is originally from Virginia as her father was in the Navy and stationed there. Rose moved to Jacksonville in 1988, is married and has two children, a son and a daughter.
Rose has been at our office for 2 years now and has added an extra ray of sunshine! She has been working in dentistry since 1995 and is a Certified Dental Assistant as well as Certified in CPR. Rose has a passion for family dentistry. She loves helping children overcome their fear of the dentist.
When Rose is not at the office, you can often find her with her family at one of the happiest places on earth - Walt Disney World. Make sure you say hello and get to know her next time you come in to our office!
Sheila has been a Dental Hygienist in our office for the last 27 years. She has been married to her husband Bob and also a Hygienist for 40 years. Sheila loves spending time with her 3 children (twin girls and a son) and 11 Grandchildren - 2 from Ghana, West Africa. When not at our office with her adoring patients on Mondays, she is at the beach where she lives and enjoys her friends and family.
Born in Northern Ireland, Sheila moved to the US when she was 11 years old, but still makes jaunts back to Ireland to catch up with family and bring back her favorite Irish treats!
Everyone knows Sheila is in the house when they hear her lovely laugh on Mondays. Make sure to check in and tell her Hello!
Pam is a native of Jacksonville and had been in dentistry since 1985. She worked as a Certified dental assistant for 8 years before graduating from FCCJ in 1995 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been working in our office for 22 years.
Pam has been married for 27 years and has a son and a granddaughter. She enjoys working out, but mostly likes spending time with her beautiful granddaughter. So next time your in our office stop by her room and say "hello", she would love to meet you.
Jodi is a West Virginia native but has called Florida her home for 17 years. She is married with four children, a son and three daughters. She attended Mountain State University in Beckey, West Virginia majoring in business. She has been working in dentistry since 2005 and loves to see how a healthy beautiful smile can change a person’s life. Jodi and her family enjoys camping at Disney’s Fort Wilderness, weekends at the beach and spending time with her family.
Paula is originally from Daytona Beach, Florida and has lived in the Jacksonville area for 25 years. She is married and has two daughters. She has been in dentistry for over 40 years and loves interacting with patients and making them feel comfortable when they come in the office. She and her husband enjoy going to concerts and throwing themed dinner parties in their home. Paula also enjoys playing the piano, reading and singing in her church choir. The forgotten coast of Florida has been her favorite weekend getaway for many years.
